A daring design that only sins in the materials
The realme GT Neo 3 is a mobile that makes clear its taste for aggressive design in the unit they have given us, in a blue color that sometimes turns purple, with white stripes on the back. It is a design inspired by car racing.
The negative part is that the perimeter is not metal but plastic and shows in hand. Again, something that will not matter to 99% of people who will use it with a cover.
Depending on the brand, the back is anti-fingerprint glass, but sometimes it looks like plastic to the touch. Again, nothing matters to most users.
In that rear area, the camera module stands out, which uses a shiny glass that attracts attention and collects some dust, but nothing dramatic.

The placement of the buttons on the left, the power button on the right, or the height of the fingerprint sensor on the screen is entirely correct. It is noted that the ergonomics have been worked on, something that we cannot of all the mobiles we test.
The front panel frames are not the thinnest we have seen, and in a mobile of this price, we can demand more, but they are not insultingly large either.
A high-end standard screen

A section in which we still see differences between the high-end and the premium high-end is the screen. The realme GT Neo 3 has a 6.7-inch panel with FHD + resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) and HDR10 + technology.
This is especially noticeable when viewing content on applications such as Netflix or YouTube, with more unique colors. The black color that is achieved with OLED technology also helps.

The screen’s refresh rate reaches 120 Hz; although this is not an LTPO panel, another difference between these models compared to those that exceed 1,000 euros.
The quality of the panel, the brightness outdoors, the tactile response, everything is in line with what we can expect from mobile in this category. There are no crazy curves or resolutions, but that’s something most people are okay with.
Another peculiarity of this mobile is the existence of a dedicated processor that works with the screen and allows reducing its consumption, which is appreciated by seeing the autonomy figures that this smartphone shows.
Three cameras, but no telephoto lens
This is not a mobile designed to stand out in photography, and Realme recognizes this. However, it is not that a flawed camera system has been used, not at all.

The primary rear sensor is the IMX 766 OIS, the same one used by the realme 9 Pro Plus, which we loved. Now we will be much more demanding because the price is different.
You can see the quality of the images in the video and the gallery, as always. Highlight the rear sensor, which gives us optimal daily and night performance.
However, the wide-angle and the rear macro sensor are not what we would expect from a high-end mobile, even if it is not focused on photography. The configuration has reminded us of gaming mobiles, with a decent sensor and the rest almost obvious.
Having said all that, no one who buys this mobile should do so because of the camera, but they will not be disappointed in this aspect either, as long as they know that this device excels in other sections.
Significant autonomy with the best fast charge

Specifically, we can charge at 150 W if we activate it in the battery settings since this function is not active by default, something strange. When we do, we can get to 50% charge in 5 minutes, with a complete account in less than 12 minutes. And the autonomy is incredible.

For those who worry about battery degradation with daily use of this charge, realme guarantees a battery capacity greater than 80% minimum after 1600 charges. In other words, we could charge the mobile for four years with its fast charger and still have autonomy from a 3500 mAh battery. Assuming we charge it daily, which is not always necessary.
In the first battery test, we have been using the mobile mostly indoors, although we have gone shopping using Bluetooth headphones, and we have not taken pictures or videos, nor have we made calls. The screen has been at 120 Hz. We have touched the screen for five and a half hours with almost 50 hours of autonomy.
In the second battery test, we were outdoors, took photos, and used the mobile to play under Wifi. We have reached 7 hours on the screen with 34 hours of autonomy.
In the third battery test, we used the mobile almost exclusively indoors, which was noticed. We have played and used TikTok mainly. We have reached 8 hours of the screen with 24 hours of autonomy.
